A 9 week Chinese course for students, staff and general public from week beginning 14 October to week beginning 9 December 2024.

Thursday Evenings 6.15pm-7.45pm

For those who have learned around 400 Chinese words. Participants will learn a further 200 words and how to read and recognize more ‘survival’ Chinese characters, and will progress their knowledge of Chinese grammar. At the end of the course, learners will be able to use simple Chinese in daily life.  The course will cover Discover China book 1, units 7-9. To make progress during the course you will need to allocate at least 3 hours per week for revision of each class and learning characters.
